Students will be able to share and perform one of their favorite musical moments (song, rhythm, or dance) from the semester and receive recognition for their growth.

Review Favorite Moments

Show the journey slides. "Who remembers the Scarf Dance? Who remembers our Mexico trip?" Briefly recap the high points of the last 7 lessons.

5 MIN

Play Favorite Games

Do a "Lightning Round" of student favorites. Play 2 minutes of Musical Statues and one quick round of Hot Potato.

10 MIN

Share a Favorite Dance

Split into groups from Lesson 5. Let them perform their choreographed dances one last time. If they prefer, the whole class can perform "La Raspa" together for an audience of stuffed animals or visiting teachers.

7 MIN

Reflect on Learning

Students complete the "My Favorite Song" worksheet. They draw their favorite musical memory and write (or dictate) one word about how music makes them feel.

3 MIN

The Final Bow

Hand out the Music Certificates. Everyone stands in a line for a Grand Finale Bow. "1, 2, 3... Music is Magic!"

Capture the Magic

If possible, record the final group dance or take a class photo with their certificates. It's a wonderful memory for parents!

The Certificate

Make the certificate handover a special moment. Call each student by name and have the rest of the class do a "drum roll" on their laps.
