Warm-up: The Confidence Breath

Practice standing tall in "Performer Stance." Take 3 deep breaths. Review the etiquette for the stage (bowing) and the audience (quiet listening and clapping).

Final Rehearsal

Students have 5 minutes to look over their "Hit Single" worksheet and practice singing or signing it one last time. Teacher visits each student to give a "starting note" on the instrument.

The Concert Showcase

Students come to the front in small groups or individually. They announce their song title and perform. After each performance, the class gives a silent "jazz hands" or a round of applause.

Celebration & Feedback

Students fill out a "Glow and Grow" slip for a friend. Teacher hands out the Composer Celebration Certificates to all students for completing the unit.

Assessment & Differentiation

Success Criteria

✓ Performed the melody as written.

✓ Provided positive feedback to a peer.

Differentiation

Support: Allow students to perform with a partner or for the teacher privately if they have stage fright.
Challenge: Introduce their song with a short sentence about why they chose those notes.
